The Calm Before The Storm

It is often said that preparation is the key to success. Pre-shave prep helps mitigate razor burn, bumps, and post-shave redness. Do the following for pre-shave perfection:

Step 1: Take a hot shower to open your pores and soften stubble.

Step 2: Start with a clean slate. Make sure your face is squeaky clean by using a non-soap facial cleanser that doesn’t over dry skin. (Recommended Product: Daily Facial Cleanser)

Step 3: Dead skin cells and excess oils are what lead to unsightly razor bumps and ingrown hairs. Exfoliate at least 2 – 3 times a week before shaving for perfectly smooth skin. (Recommended Product: Exfoliating Facial Scrub)

Step 4: If you use an electric razor or beard trimmer, use an electric pre-shave oil to help whiskers stand at attention so you get the closest shave possible. (Recommended Product: Electric Pre-Shave Optimizer)
